LLAMAWERX EXECUTIVES TO SPEAK AT CED EVENTS

RALEIGH, NC - October 1, 2004 - Llamawerx is proud to announce that co-founders Doug Griswold and Judy Gerard will participate in panel discussions at Infotech 2004 and Entrepreneur 2004 hosted by the Council for Entrepreneurial Development (CED).

On October 8th, CEO Doug Griswold will provide insight into wireless technology by participating in the panel entitled “The Convergence of Cellular and Wireless LAN Technologies.” Before starting Llamawerx, Mr. Griswold led development efforts using wireless technologies for Ericsson Inc. “At Ericsson, we developed products that combined wireless technologies in innovative ways. In our group, the mindset always revolved around the end user. Making it seamless for them is what it’s all about,” said Doug.

On October 30th, President Judy Gerard will discuss the challenges and opportunities of woman entrepreneurship at CED’s Entrepreneur 2004. On the panel, Women and Entrepreneurship: A Good Match, a group of successful women entrepreneurs will discuss why they believe women owning their own business are a good fit. “Having recently transitioned from the corporate to the entrepreneurial world, I’m more convinced then ever that women have the skills necessary to make the leap. If I can positively impact others, I will,” said Judy.
